Gunmen Kidnap School Children In Imo

Gunmen, today, January, 31, 2024, kidnapped children that were returning from school at Obinze, along Owerri- Portharcourt road.

An eye witness who saw how it happened, told Daily Nigerian Telegraph, that the children were in their school bus before the abductors struck, overpowered the driver took the vehicle inside the forest.

At the time of filing this report, name of the school, as well as number of pupils that were kidnapped could not be established by this medium.

When contacted, the Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO), Imo State Command, Assistant Superintendent of Police (ASP) Henry Okoye, said he was yet to had been notified by the public on the incident.
