UMUIHUGBA UMUODA WOMEN VISIT GOVERNOR UZODIMMA.
Women from UMUIHUGBA UMUODU AUTONOMOUS COMMUNITY in Owerri Municipal, in Owerri senatorial zone in Imo State, paid a solidarity visit to Governor Hope Uzodimma at the Government House, Owerri.
The leader of the women group who is the president general of Umuihugba Umuoda women, Lolo Chidimma Nnennaya Ihebom(PHD) commended the governor for giving the community a traditional ruler of their choice in the person of HRH, Eze Ihebom Kelvin Tochukwu.
Mrs. Ihebom pointed that since the enthronement of Eze Kelvin, peace and tranquility have returned to Umuihugba Umuodu autonomous community irrespective of distractions from some elements whom she described as sycophants who are fighting even the Hope administration by challanging his decision in installing the traditional ruler, trying to cause internal squabbles.
She applauded governor Uzodimma on his people-oriented governance and infrastructural development in the state.
The women praised the governor for the construction of key roads, including the ongoing Nekede Ihiagwa road.
They appreciated the governor’s efforts in restoring peace and security in the state, creating an enabling environment for businesses and residents and maintained, that the
governor’s administration has also been recognized for its support for women, adding , that the Umuihugba Umuodu women women will continue to express gratitude for his vision and leadership.
Receiving the women back to the community, the traditional ruler of Umuihugba Umuodu autonomous community, HRH. Eze Ihebom Kelvin Tochukwu thanked the women for their unalloyed support to his administration and the Imo state government generally and pledged that his leadership will continue to bring a lasting peace and quality representation to Umuihugba Umuodu autonomous community.
He thanked governor Uzodimma on his efforts in restoring peace and security in the state.
