I’ve empowered over 500 indigent people- Igwe London

An Imo- born London – based philanthropist, His Royal Highness, Igwe Kelvin, Igwe London, has disclosed that over 300 less privileged children are under his scholarship.
He said this when speaking to the Mbano Journalists Association who paid him a courtesy visit, at his house, in Owerri, on Monday, December 13, 2025.
The philanthropist noted, that, it was a great pleasure meeting the MJA members, saying he was overwhelmed for the media practitioners to be taking note of all the things he has been doing for the people.
On the release of the IPOB Leader, Nnamdi Kanu, he said they had been working on it , and expressed optimism that the would be released soon.
“I want to see my Southeast people happy, going to the farms without fear, and opening thei shops”, he said.
He pleaded on with Government and good – spirited individuals in the State to assist io making others a meaningful personal in the society., adding that he had tarred roads, sunk bore hole, paid hospital bills for many and othe things he has done for the people.
Earlier in his speech, the Chairman, Mbano Journalists Association, MJA, Mr. Kelechi Uzoma, noted, that the group founded HRH Igwe Kelvin worthy to be honoured because of his humanitarian gestures.
He said, that the things the Igwe London is doing for the youths, women and others have continued to attracting commendations.
In 2021, he offered indigent students scholarship in Ideato North and South Local Government Areas, whose parents can’t afford a three square meals a day.
