Father kills son for eating last portion of meal in kitchen

A man identified as Marcel Udeh from Umunneochi LGA of Abia State has allegedly killed his son over eating of the last meal in the pot.

It was reported that the deceased offence

according to a community source, was that he returned home and ate the last portion of food in a pot inside the family’s kitchen.

The story revealed that Mr Udeh was angry that his late son who returned from his outing had the effrontery to  enter the kitchen ate the last food without getting permission from him.

The source said in anger, Udeh dashed into his room, brought out a gun and fired at his son, leading to his death.

The community it was gathered, took hold of Mr Marcel Udeh tied his two hands and placed him on the lifeless body of his deceased son..

Realising the gravity of his offence, Udeh, regretted his action and started begging for mercy, he blamed his actions on the devil.

Reacting over the incident, the Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO) of Abia State Command, ASP Maureen Chinaka confirmed the incident adding that the matter was reported at the Umunneochi Division, noting  that the suspect has been arrested.

“Yes, we got a report at Umunneochi Division, the suspect has been arrested and the matter has currently been transferred to the SCID for discreet investigation, the accused will be charged to Court”. The PPRO stated.
