A middle-aged man, Mr. Chima Duru has died in New Delhi,  India after jumping from a three- storey building over what an eye-witness described as fear of  Indian Police officers.

The late Chima, a native of Umuaghaobe  Isiekenesi, in the Ideato South Local Government Area of Imo State,  was said to be in his apartment with other Nigerians when Police officers invaded their building.

   According to an eyewitness who confided on The Statesman, weekend,  said, the deceased, who was a businessman, on sighting from the window that Security officers were coming towards the front side of their house,  It was learnt that fear gripped him and the young man jumped down from the building and became unconscious.
  We rushed him to a nearby hospital where he was confirmed dead by the Medical doctor as a result of the internal injuries he sustained.
      Chima, who died while attempting to evade arrest from operatives of the Indian Immigration and Police who invaded his place of residence, was reported to had been moving with an expired travel documents before the tragic incidence.
