Canadian City Mayor honours Imo- born Philanthropist, Rev’d Chinedu Nmezi

History was made on Monday, May 5, 2025 as the Chief Executive Officer of Jonvik African Food, Canada; Rev’d Anthony Nmezi, played host to Mayor of the City of Brampton, His Worship, Patrick Brown at his business place, wherein he also received a Certificate Of Recognition from the very important personality.
The Mayor, while presenting an award and Certificate, said , “On behalf of the City of Brampton, I congratulate you, on your success and contributions to our community”.
He further commended the philanthropist, and Founder, Vivian Humanitarian Foundation (VHF), for his efforts towards bringing taste and spirit of Africa to Canada, and how he has helped to foster cultural pride, strengthened ties between Nigeria and Canada; as well as supporting growths, including diversity.
” I wish you continued success and impact in the years ahead”, he prayed.
Responding, the Nkwerre-born Pastor and humanitarian, Nmezi thanked the Brown for recognizing the little he has done.
“I appreciate this recognition. It shows you have noted our contributions towards lifting the two good countries to greater heights”, he said.
