The Napoli hitman netted 10 times to emerge top scorer in the qualifiers.

Peseiro stated that the 25-year-old’s presence will be crucial for the Super Eagles at the competition.

The Portuguese has also tipped the striker to emerge top scorer in Cote d’Ivoire 2023.

” From our team, he (Osimhen) was the highest goal scorer during the qualifiers,” Peseiro said at a dinner organized to celebrate Osimhen’s coronation as Africa’s best player at the team’s training base in Abu Dhabi on Friday night.

“Of course his teammates helped him to achieve that. I hope and wish he wins the highest goal scorer and help us win the tournament.”
