Philanthropist Empowers 500 Widows, Others Charges Christians to focus on God

Christians have been admonished not to lament about their present situations, as God would still honor their dreams and expectations.

A Philanthropist and National President, Hope Rising for Imolites, Chief Success Akagburuonye, gave the charge while celebrating Christmas with Widows, Orphans, Indigents and Ministers of God in a ceremony, which took place at his hometown,  Ogbor Uvuru in Aboh Mbaise Local Government Area of Imo State.

The event, which was witnessed by over five hundred beneficiaries, saw each of them, selected across Churches in Ogbo Uvuru Autonomous Community receiving a 5kg Bag of Rice and Cash.

The Beneficiaries thanked Chief Akagburuonye for his Philanthropic disposition, praying and wishing him well.

In his speech, Chief explained that the reason for the Celebration was the gift of life to witness the end of 2023, and charge them to be hopeful, trusting God to elevate them.

Meanwhile, the Clergymen at the event who also benefited from the Christmas largess, were generous with their prayers and good wishes for Chief Akagburuonye
