Ernest Oziri: A quintessential leader

Indeed, God created man in his own image; and endowed them with rare unique idiosyncrasies that  mark some human out from others.

    The Special Adviser (SA) to the Imo State Governor, His Excellency, Most Distinguished Sen. Hope Uzodimma on Community Relations, Hon. (Deacon) Ernest Oziri is really a personality one could strongly describe as a gentle man.

  Since he assumed office as Governor Hope Uzodimma’s appointee, crises that often erupt in the rural areas of the State are gradually subsiding to an unimaginable extent. Traditional rulers in Imo,  Presidents General, and other stakeholders have described him as an agent of change, and apostle of peace in the Sheared Prosperity administration of Governor Hope Uzodimma.

    Hon. Ernest Oziri, An ordained Deacon in the Winners’ Chapel,  A freeborn of Umuokanne community in Ohaji-Egbema Local Government Area, has clearly carved a niche for himself to had been relating communities with the present administration. It is also clear that, in lieu with other appointees,  Oziri has been replicating the excellent performance of his Boss, Sen. Uzodimma in the rural areas of the State.

    Honourable Deacon Ernest Oziri has always mixed his official assignments with kindness and philanthropy- hence his Boss, Governor Hope Uzodimma has remained a household name  in the Ohaji-Egbema  particularly, and other Imo communities at large.

   The Special Adviser also highlights how Governor Uzodimma’s Rehabilitation, Reconstruction, and Recovery have revived roads once deemed impassable, including major highways such as Owerri-Okigwe, Owerri-Orlu, and Owerri-Mbaise-Umuahia, the urban renewal efforts like the DSS Road, MCC-Toronto corridor, and signature projects like the Orlu-Mgbee-Akokwa-Uga Road and others.

  Not only that, He reminds rural dwellers of Uzodimma’s investments in the Sam Mbakwe International Cargo Airport road, Health infrastructure, the Assumpta flyover, and a world-class International Conference Centre. “Governor Uzodimma remains a priceless national asset whose selfless leadership has continued to uplift lives of Imo people”,  he would always say.

 It is therefore not surprising to most of us that Deacon Ernest is today, playing big role in the Rehabilitation, Reconstruction and Recovery  administration of Senator Hope Uzodinma in terms of restoring unity of purpose, peaceful coexistence and oneness among our brothers and sisters in communities.

   Ernest Oziri is indeed, God’s gift to the good people of Ohaji-Egbema and Imo State at large. This is as a result of the successful mediations he had so far recorded as SA, Community Relations.

  His good character and kind disposition have forced people of different political parties to join the ruling party,  All Progressives Congress (APC). Infact, the decamped persons have even remained in the platform till date. Oziri is no doubt, a man of substance and a role model to many people, out there.

   Recently, Deacon Oziri intervened in a leadership crisis that rocked  Umuagwo autonomous community on a fact-finding mission to the palace of His Royal Highness, Eze Anthony Oguzie, in a bid to restore peace and stability in the area.

   During his visit to the community, Deacon Oziri, a humble servant, conveyed Governor Hope Uzodimma’s firm stance against acts that could breach the peace in Imo communities. He boldly advised Ndi Umuagwo to place unity and development above personal interests. He calls a spade, Spade.

   The peaceful role he played in the incident really pushed the people to start hailing his timely intervention as further prove of Governor Uzodimma’s good governance style, while describing the Monarch’s openness as a demonstration of statesmanship. I want to tell you that peace has been restored to that village. To God, be the glory.  Prior to this very moment, Hon Deacon Ernest oziri’s intervention in Oforola ancient kingdom over a vast piece of land under litigation for over 20 years and as such became a safe heaven for the killer Fulani kidnappers have been resolved up to 90% , cleared. As if that was not enough, the Ohoba community vigilante lingering problem has been resolved through his attention.

Even the recent illegal curfew by the OBIZI HOME ABROAD UNION without the approval of his Excellency have been been suspended through his action, also.

  In all ramifications, Hon. Deacon Ernest Oziri see his appointment as a tool to epitomize to great concern of Governor to the people. His life is deeply rooted in community, compassion, and passion for love. He has remained unshakably loyal to the dreams of sheared prosperity principles, and his deep concern for those in the communities is practical and powerful as always pronounced by the Governor, Hope Uzodimma Uzodimma.
