Anglican Priest,  Nmezi Seeks Justice Over Alleged Cybercrimes Against Him, Wife

    An Anglican priest with the Diocese of Orlu, Rev. Chinedu Nmezi is seeking justice from the Court over alleged Cyber- bullying, intimidation and threat to his life and wife.

 Nmezi, A Canada-based Philanthropist and his wife; Evang Vivian Nmezi who have empowered many indigent people through their charity organization; Vivian Humanitarian Foundation, Canada, told the Media on Tuesday, June 2nd, 2026, shortly after of sitting  of the Federal High Court 2, along Port Harcourt road, Owerri, Imo State, alleging that  some persons bullied him, and his wife; Evang. Vivian Nmezi calling them all sorts of names on social media.

   “Before my family returned to Nigeria from Canada for Christmas celebration, last  year, their lives were threatened that they would be arrested. I felt bad, and reported to the Force Headquarters, Abuja. The Police transferred the case to the Imo State Command and gave us Police officers for safety”, Rev. Nmezi alleged. He continued : “Ajoku Chigozie

 and Nzube Collins had been posting us on their Facebook pages with bad images, describing my wife and I as “dead people”. I want to know whom these people are fighting for”, he alleged.

 In his submission, The Imo State Police Command’s Prosecutor, Barr. Sam Obodo told the Court that the defendants the case was reported to in 2025.

   At the sitting on June 2, with the charge number: FHC/OW/19C/2026, as presided over by the Hon. Justice Nicholas Oweibe, the matter was adjourned to July, 16, 2026.
