As Muslim faithful celebrate yearly religious programme, the Assistant Inspector General of Police, Zone 9 Headquarters, Umuahia, AIG Kanayo V. Uzuegbu, psc(+) has congratulated the Muslim community across Imo, Abia, and Ebonyi States on the joyous occasion of Eid-Maulud.

Zone 9 Police Command Headquarters,Umuahia, dated September 5, 2025, IG Uzuegbu urged all Muslim faithful to let the season inspire peace, unity, and love values which, he emphasized, are essential to national prosperity and the safety of lives and property.

“In ensuring a seamless and peaceful celebration, the Commissioners of Police under the Zone have been directed, through a comprehensive operational order, to emplace robust and watertight security across all strategic locations”.

According to PPRO, the AIG reassured Nigerians of the unwavering commitment of the Nigeria Police Force to its core mandate of safeguarding lives and property while fostering an atmosphere of harmony, shared progress, and therefore prayed that the blessings of Eid-Maulud continue to guide the nation on the path of peace, security, and unity.
