Fear Grips Residents As Hunters Discover Dead Human Bodies In Imo Forest

Decomposing human bodies have been discovered by hunters operating within Avu and Ihiagwa Communities in the Owerri West Local Government of Imo State.
     Chairman of the association, Mr. Charles Unanka, said over five decayed bodies of persons who were believed to had been kidnapped and killed by their abductors, could be be identified.
     The hunters revealed that forest within axis of the Federal University of Technology, Owerri (FUTO) has become a den of kidnappers in the State and that they had been operating without being challenged.
   “We, members of the Nigerian Hunters and Forest Security Services, Imo State Command, are not happy with this urgly development. Government should arrest these hoodlums”.
   Speaking with Daily Nigerian Telegraph, a Legal Practitioner, Barrister Emeka Nnodim, called on Security agencies to rise up to its responsibilities and ensure the lives of the citizens and properties to be protected.
