Former SSA, Calista Anene, eulogizes Uzodimma on credible performance

The immediate past Senior Special Assistant to the Governor of Imo State, His Excellency Distinquished Senator Hope Uzodimma, on Social Development and Humanitarian Services, Hon. Princess Calista Anene, has eulogized the Governor for performing creditably in his first tenure.

She said the Governor has practically rendered democracy dividends to the state, adding that the major things the 3R Government did were quality road construction, rehabilitation, recovery, youth and women empowerment.

Anene, while interacting with newsmen in Owerri, last week, hinted that many youths, especially those who are from Oguta local government, have been trained on various skills such as installation of CCTV Camera, evaluational training, among other activities geared to helping them build a reliable and healthy future.

She stressed that her office created a resource centre where Imo undergraduates come to easily prepare their Resumes or CVs and hence get ready for employment in diverse fields of human endeavors, noting that some oil companies have been visited and urged to employ Imo youths as they are qualified to work effectively that will leave indelible mark to improve standard of the company.

She emphasised that the women have been empowered by government in many areas, including political appointment, harping that women are critical to development, hence she requested the Governor to bring in more women and youths into his cabinet, as such a measure would improve the economy.

On revenue generation of Imo State, the Canadian based Royal Princess of Oguta Amaeshi, who hails from Oguta local government area is well educated, brilliant, strongly willed and impeccably refined, wants the Governor to select those with great ideas and literally intelligent as his aides on cabinets in order to increase the revenue to enhance development.

Anene who observed that she played a vital role towards the reelection of the Governor in the November 11 2023 guber poll, promised that she would continue to give active support to the Governor as he firmly consolidate his laudable achievements to fully reconstruct, rehabilitate and recover Imo State.

While outlining that her office rendered effective services to the victims of the flood in Oguta and environs, Anene, a supper philanthropist, called on Imo people including visitors to see reason and lend due credence to the Governor and his team to enable the total economic recovery and social transformation of Imo State which she said is blessed with natural and human resources.
