Owerri- based Female Lawyer Slumps To Death On Morning Jogging

By The Editor

A female lawyer identified as Beatrice Onwuzurike, has reportedly fainted and died, Monday, while having a morning exercise at Dan Anyiam Sports Stadium Owerri, the Imo state capital.

Eyewitness said the woman was on training kit alongside other people who came for morning exercise, and while she was jogging around the stadium, she fainted and died.

Some people whose shops were located inside the stadium spoke to our reporter on Monday, disclosing that the deceased was not a popular face at the training ground.

A woman who also spoke on condition of anonymity admitted that it actually happened and the female lawyer fainted and died instantly at the stadium.

She could not tell for sure where she (the deceased) hailed from but added that she had seen her a number of times.

The corpse, according to her, had been disposed of and deposited to the morgue.

When contacted, the Imo police Command’s Spokesman, Henry Okoye, said the command had yet to be briefed on the development.
