President Tinubu To Visit Aba, Monday For Geometric Power Plant, Roads Commissioning

President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, Bola Ahmed Tinubu is expected to visit Aba, Abia State, on Monday, February 26, 2024, visit Aba for commissioning of Geometric Power Plant.

It was gathered that the President will also use the occasion to commission
another set of three roads in Aba, rehabilitated by the administration of Governor Alex Otti.

The Abia state Commissioner for Information and Culture
Prince Okey Kanu, made this Known through a press release he made available to the Press, Sunday.

He said the commissioning will be on Monday, February 26th by Mr. President; while noting that the power plant will provide uninterrupted power supply to Aba and its environs.

He named the roads to be
commissioned as Omoba Road, ⁠Jubilee Road and
⁠Queens Street.

The commissioner revealed that this is Mr President’s first commissioning of a road constructed by the current set of Governors in Nigeria. It equally marks the 9th road being commissioned in Aba since Dr Alex Otti, took over the reigns of power in the State eight months ago.

He enjoin citizens and Aba residents to troop out en masse to welcome Mr president and also to witness the epoch making events.
