TCN Compensates 210 Imo residents

The Transmission Company of Nigeria (TCN) has announced that it has compensated Two Hundred and Ten (210) people in Imo at the proposed reconstruction of 138km Alaoji (Abia State)- Onitsha (Anambra State) 330kv SC to 330kv DC Quad Core Transmission Line.
Speaking with journalists, in Owerri, on Wednesday, at the Rock view Hotel, the Project Manager of TCN, Engr. Omobola Sobo said the compensation exercise was part of ongoing efforts to clear the Right of Way (RoW) for the project.
Sobo explained that TCN prioritises full RoW clearance before construction to ensure protect infrastructure, and allow smooth project execution.
