Yemi Alade rubbishes comparison between self, Tiwa Savage

Popular Nigerian singer, Yemi Alade, has rubbished the comparison between her and colleague, Tiwa Savage.

The ‘Johnny’ crooner had taken to her X (formerly Twitter) page to relish her performance at the opening ceremony of the 2023 African Cup of Nations, AFCON, in Ivory Coast, when a fan commented that she was better than Tiwa Savage.

Not impressed by the fan’s comment, Alade urged him to support and celebrate them both, stressing that they are both “winning.”

She described comparison as “the thief of joy.”

The fan wrote, “U better than Tiwa [Savage].”

Yemi Alade replied: “Comparison is the thief of joy. We’re both winning…. celebrate and support us all.”
